STYLISH WAYS TO GO GREEN WHEN YOU CLEAN

Eco Clean cleaning products made from pure Danish ingredients are the perfect way to clean green. Non-toxic cleaners for spiffing up the kitchen, the bathroom, and hand soap have a foaming option nozzle which minimizes the exposure of vapors. Unlike many bland looking green cleaners, Eco Clean packaging is stylish enough to display in your home, and each product retails for an affordable $4.49 at Alice.com and Duane Reade.

making your own is simple too!

Another great option is to make your own green cleaner! If you google green cleaners, you'll find that you can make your own with some simple ingredients, like vinegar, baking soda, castille soap, etc. Not that I'm doing it! I'm more likely to buy green than make green, but it's a good option if you have the time and want to make the effort.

I'm always looking for less toxic cleaners; unfortunately some don't seem to work very well. How do these compare?

Thanks for providing this good info.

Re: comment from Liz asking if these work as well as others, I personally have found there is a slight trade off with green products in that they don't do as "tough" of a job at cleaning as chemical based products, so you might need to rub or scrub a bit more, but in the end it's worth it.

Thanks for the tip...I find that the chemicals with toxins give me a headache.

I need to pay more attention to my soaps. So far I just seem to use whatever we have, and I realize that is not very informed.

i love the green products for day to day use, but about once every six months, i must admit, the old pioson stuff does clean better...but for only twice a year use, i'm guilt free.
